Welcome to GeorgeCo Cables
For the past four years, GeorgeCo has answered that call to produce unique cables to connect
PDAs to GPS devices, producing hundreds of cables for users from Australia to Finland. Fewer and fewer serial devices are being made so we've moved on. But there are still many sites which point to this one so we wanted to show you how to make your own cable or where you can buy one yourself. Here's how to make a PDA-GPS cable for about $10:
- Go to the Pfranc website and read about the Purple Open Projects
- Go to Gomadic and buy the right connectors
- Go to Radioshack and
buy a headphone extension cable
That's it. It isn't rocket science.
Our support page has a handout with the pinouts you need. Click here to read it. To purchase a cable, check out the vendors below. We have no direct
affiliation with any of them, but have done business with each of them in the past with very good results.
