So what’s this site all about? MINIs obviously. It serves a number of functions for me: It provides me with a journal as I learn how to make modifications and repairs to my cars; it’s a place to share photographs, videos, and adventures with friends and family as I learn to autocross and track my car; and it’s a way for me to learn how to deploy and manage a blog using Wordpress. When I gather enough material, maybe I’ll turn it into a book: 147 performance projects for your MINI. I think I’m up to 85…
Mostly this site is about my obsession with all things MINI. I hope you find it helpful and possibly interesting. Feel free to comment here or on any of the posts. I’d love to hear what you think. You have to register to be able to post.

A note about civility: Blogs are great places for conversations, but they are only productive if they remain civil. So I have established a few rules here (I get to do that because I pay the bills): 1. Stay on topic. This blog is about MINIs, BMWs, garage mechanics, autocrossing, track days, and general car talk. 2. Stay civil. I won’t post comments that flame anyone (especially me. Why would I want to do that?…) 3. The administrator is always right. 4. When in doubt, see number 3.
